If you cant see attachments in an email you received, close Outlook and re-open it. Sometimes this can force the email client to redownload the files from the server. Refreshing the app is also helpful or youre unable to attach files to an email you want to send.
Hi, Microsoft says to select an email, to scroll down the arrow next to an attachment and to select remove attachment.
Removing email attachments after you send is possible no matter what email you use! Now, if you are using unSend.it to remove attachments or email message content, it wont erase the email from existence. What it will do is remove the parts you are requesting to be removed, and then the email stays there.
Remove an attachment from the message body Click to select the attachment in the message body and then press the Delete key on the keyboard. Close the message and save changes.
In Outlook, click on the Deleted Items folder. On the ribbon at the top of the screen, click Recover items deleted from this folder. A list of deleted items that are recoverable will be exposed. Select the email you want to recover, and then click Recover Selected Items or Recover All Items.
Check Deleted Items or Trash Folder: Sometimes, deleted attachments end up in the Deleted Items or Trash folder. Search for the item you want, right-click it, and then select Move Other Folder to restore it.
Use the Search icon to find attachments Tap the Search icon at the bottom. Look under Files to find recent email attachments. Tap one of your Contacts to find an attachment from a specific person.
