so today we are going to talk about type systems and Im really excited about this because Ive Ive had a couple attempts at getting this topic ready its such a deep topic and you can go all kinds of different directions with it but I think lets kind of see where we go today but this is one that I put a lot of time into the kind of researching and figuring out the best way to talk about it but type systems are pretty cool whenever I first started programming I learned C++ and so types to me at that time were you know youre working with integers youre working with strings very primitive types youre working with pointers and memory structures and then later got in like c-sharp dotnet Java youre working with objects and class types and really that was kind of the world of the type system at that point you have you know design patterns which kind of leverage some of the benefits of the type system whenever I got into functional programming though it was when it really opened up my
