Ethan: In Powerpoint, you can make global changes to your deck and layouts from the Slide Master view. Open the View tab of the ribbon, and find Slide Master in the Master Views section. The thumbnails at the left show each layout available in your current theme. Any content added to the Master Layout at the top will be present on all of itamp;#39;s child layouts unless you check the Hide Background Graphics box. This makes it easy to consistently place a logo or running header on each slide, and reduces the number of edits you have to make when you want to make a change. Find the Colors tool in the Background group of the ribbon if you want to adjust your color scheme for the entire deck. In the same group is the Fonts tool, where you can select fonts for your title and body text. If some of your text does not change its font, it may be because it is using a different theme or layout than the rest of your slides. To fix this, you can either apply the same theme or layout to all your slides, or change the font of each text box individually.
Change the default font in PowerPoint Click View Slide Master. On the Slide Master tab, click the Fonts drop-down menu. Select the font you want to use for all the slides in the presentation. Click Close Master View. The text throughout your presentation is automatically updated to the new font.
To replace all the fonts in a PowerPoint presentation go to Home menu and then look for Replace menu option. From here, click there and open the context menu and then choose Replace Font.
From the Design tab, click the drop-down arrow in the Variants group. Select Background Styles. Select the desired style. The available styles will change depending on the current theme colors.
Formatting the Text Open your presentation in PowerPoint. Select the text you want to modify. On the Home tab, in the Font group, youll find a lot of buttons and settings that you can use to customize and modify the text. To change the font of a text, select it and click the Font drop-down arrow.
In the upper-right corner of the PowerPoint window, click the arrow next to Search in Presentation. Select Replace. In the Find What box, enter the text you want to search for, and in the Replace With box, enter the text you want to use as the replacement. To search for the next occurrence of the text, click Find Next.
Click View Slide Master. On the Slide Master tab, click the Fonts drop-down menu. Select the font you want to use for all the slides in the presentation. You dont have to choose from the pre-defined font pairs on the menu; choose Customize Fonts at the bottom of the menu to select your own fonts.
The Home tab contains both the Find and Replace buttons that can be used to find and replace text in PowerPoint. If youre using PowerPoint for Windows, you can use the CTRL+F hotkey to find text or Command+F for Mac.
