hey guys so iamp;#39;m going to show you two ways to increase the font size on your mac now the first way is if youamp;#39;re already in a program so letamp;#39;s say for example if weamp;#39;re in chrome and if we just want to temporarily make the font marger so all you do for this is you hold down on command and press plus and as you guys see itamp;#39;s making them larger you can also hold down command and press on minus to make it smaller you can also use two fingers on a trackpad so keep them together and then separate them and that makes a font larger and if you have them separated and then bring them together that makes it smaller okay now if you want a more permanent solution for everything on your mac then press on this apple logo in the top of corner and press on system preferences alright so from here youamp;#39;re gonna click on display displays all right so you guys see we have resolution now weamp;#39;re going to be adjusting this downwards so press on scaled so to

Please go to your Macs System Preferences. Select General. Check the Use font smoothing when available option.
On previous releases of macOS, you could disable font smoothing from the General pane of the System Preferences app, but this option has been removed from macOS Big Sur (as reported on by publications including MacRumors and Ars Technica).
To smooth the fonts on your screen: Open System Preferences and click Appearance. To turn on font smoothing in Mac OS X v10. 6 or later, select Use LCD font smoothing when available.
Subpixel antialiasing is obnoxious to implement. It requires threading physical pixel geometry up through multiple graphics layers, geometry which is screen-dependent (think multi-monitor). It multiplies your glyph caches: glyph * subpixel offset.
Choose Format Font Replace Fonts (from the Format menu at the top of the screen). Click the double arrows to the right of the font you want to replace, then choose a replacement. If the font is listed as a missing font, also choose a typeface. Click Replace Fonts.
To preview options as you select them, choose Show Preview from the Action pop-up menu. Select the text you want to format, then do any of the following: Change the font: Select a collection, typeface, or style (such as Bold).
Ive been using this command: defaults -currentHost write -g AppleFontSmoothing -int 0. as well as its variants to turn the level of font smoothing down or up.
For Windows: Go to START SETTINGS CONTROL PANEL DISPLAY (or right-click your desktop). Click the EFFECTS tab. Check Smooth edges of screen fonts. ( see image below) Click OK to close window and apply settings. Enjoy!
