all right three minutes starting now so this is a design I created I wanted to adds typography to it and if youve ever tried to create distorted type in Illustrator its its kind of difficult at times theres some distortion tools which Im going to try to use here and first Im gonna create an envelope shape so Im gonna take these two shapes and use minus front and this gives me the overall shape I want to distort this type with so were gonna select both of these shapes and Im gonna go up to object go down to envelope to store it and were gonna try make with top object first and when we do that you kind of get this and Im like thats close but not that great so I dont want that Im gonna command Z you know maybe if we use a warp feature thatll work better so Im gonna take this and distort it down until its the same height as what I had before then Ill go back up to object go to envelope distort make with warp yeah thats not cutting thats perfect lets put that under try
