Note that the ampersand () and less-than (
Since XML cannot handle special characters, you should use the escape characters. So, element should be replaced with amp. (Greater than) to #62.
gt; Greater-than sign lt; Less-than sign
XML specifies five predefined entities needed to support every printable ASCII character: amp; , lt; , gt; , apos; , and quot; . The trailing semicolon is mandatory in XML (and XHTML) for these five entities (even if HTML or SGML allows omitting it for some of them, ing to their DTD).
The ampersand () is a special character in XML used to begin entity references. To treat it as data, it must be escaped as amp;. This preserves its intended meaning while maintaining XML structure. Correctly escaping ampersands is vital when working with XML documents containing URLs or text with ampersands.
In the XML QoS configuration file, you may sometimes want to use special characters for the name of an element. If so, escape them by surrounding the attribute value with quot; symbols in XML. The quot; symbol is a special escape character within the XML standard that represents double quotes ().
