Use the Format ▸ Scriptwriting ▸ Script Settings command. Select the element you wish to have numbered (probably Scene Heading). In the Paragraph tab, click the Options button. Select the numbering style you prefer, from the Sequential numbering dropdown.
Final Draft opens up a simple dialog, that has three tabs: Header, Footer, and Options. Just select the tab where you want to place your page numbers and place the cursor on the left side, in the middle, or on the right side in the text field below, depending on where you want your page numbers to appear.
To number a particular line: Place your cursor in that line; Go to Production Edit Scene Number; Type the number, letter or word you want to show as a Number in the field; Click OK.
