This video will explain how you can use PowerPoint slides to take notes. Many instructors use PowerPoint slides or other visual aids to assist in their lectures. Most PowerPoint slides will cover the general concepts but will not have all the information that will be discussed. If your instructor has made the slides available before class, you can use them to help you take your own notes. There are two main ways that use PowerPoint slides to take notes: on your laptop, or on a hard copy. To add notes directly in PowerPoint, start by opening the PowerPoint file on your computer. PowerPoint will display your current slide in the middle of the window, and the rest of the slides along the left side. Below your current slide, you will find a text box labeled Click to add notes. Type your notes into this box. Each slide will have its own notes section. Make sure to save the slides to keep your notes.
