Hey guys, today Iamp;#39;m going to show you a quick tutorial on how I use the pattern preview feature in docHub Photoshop. Now this came in, in version 2021. Iamp;#39;m using docHub Photoshop 2022. So letamp;#39;s have a look Iamp;#39;ve got a pattern file here that Iamp;#39;m about to create a pattern with, Iamp;#39;ve got my motors that are all smart objects, you can see down here on my Layers panel, and I want to arrange them into a pattern. So what Iamp;#39;m going to do is Iamp;#39;m going to turn on pattern preview, so go up to View, pattern preview. And youamp;#39;ll probably get this message come up. Same pattern preview works best with Smart Objects, transforming pixel layers may show unexpected results. And so I always work in Smart Objects anyway. But it does recommend you convert your motives to smart objects so that you donamp;#39;t get unexpected results. But I will show you something that does happen. Apply the Pinch filter In the Edit workspace, select an image, layer, or a specific area. Choose Distort Pinch from the Filter menu. Drag the slider to the right, into positive values, to pinch a selection inward toward its center; or to the left, into negative values, to shift a selection outward. Then click OK.
How to Adjust and/or Scale a Pattern in Photoshop: Click on Effects (or anywhere in the Effects area, but not on the name of the Layer itself). This will open the Layer Style Panel. Click on Pattern Overlay in the Style options to make it active. Doing so will open the Pattern Overlay options window in the right.
Distort. Distort works similar to skew, the biggest difference is that dragging the edges in skew will only shift the layer edge up and down. But in distort. you can even stretch and compress.

To make improvements: Open your picture in Photoshop. Select Filter and Blur. Pick Gaussian Blur as your next option, and use the slide to find the right range. Select OK. Find the Filter and Sharpen option. Select Unsharp. Use the slide until the image is as desired. Select OK.

Distort the Image Go to Edit Transform and select Distort. To distort the image, click and drag the corner handles until it fits in the laptop screen.
