[Music] welcome to this weeks episode of fix the photo uh this weekly challenge for our members was photography equipment um plenty of decent entries in on that one but theres one in particular that ive selected that im going to do a little bit of tweaks and adjustment work on so this image here is by naveen khadam and i think its quite a nice attempt on a product shot of a manfrotto geared head but um its much better on the right hand side of the image that is over here where we have all this lovely contrast and its a little bit weak on the left hand side of the image so were just going to get an adjustment layer curves adjustment layer im going to pull the highlight end of that curve in considerably to lift up that left side you can see its obviously lifted up the right side as well that doesnt matter were then going to invert that mask and then going to get a white paintbrush at around 50 this time and make sure its a soft brush and im going to brush up now i want the

Use the Ruler to help you place the Guide in your desired location. Move a Guide: Hover your cursor over the Guide and click and drag to move it.
When creating or editing images in docHub Photoshop, guides are a great visual tool to help you align the many layers and graphical elements you might be using. A guide is an individual guideline or a mathematical grid called a guide layout.
Add Guides To create a guide, simply click on one of the rulers and drag a guide onto your photo or layout. To move a guide, make sure the Moving tool is selected, and then click on a guide and drag to move it. Once you have created all the guides you want, you can lock them. Go to View and select Lock Guides.
By default, Smart Guides are on. To make sure they are on, choose View Show Smart Guides. For this tutorial, you will also need your rulers visible. Choose View Rulers to ensure that rulers are on.
Create a Guide: Hover your cursor over either the left or top Ruler. Click on the Ruler and drag it as if you were trying to move it onto your document. You will see a thin line appear as you drag from the Ruler and this is your Guide. Use the Ruler to help you place the Guide in your desired location.
If you want to lock your guides so you dont accidentally move them, you can press Ctrl Alt ; (Windows) or Command Option ; (macOS) or you can go to the View menu and choose Lock Guides.
Change the guides and grid settings Choose Edit Preferences Guides Grid. Under the Guides or Grids area: For Gridline Every, enter a number value, and then choose the unit of measurement to define the spacing of major grid lines.
Option + Shift -click (Mac) | Alt + Shift -click (Win) on a guide to select multiple guides. Then, with the same keyboard modifiers, drag to reposition multiple guides at once.
