my name is Bernard Ashwin and with publishing smarter in this video Im going to show you the basics of working with docHub frame-maker 12 in order to create a structured document make sure first of all that you are working in the structured interface if you see menu options like element instructor tools then youre already there but if not first click on edit then choose preferences ensure that under global general is selected and then change the product interface to structured framemaker I also like to disable the automatic backup on save when Im creating files so that I dont end up cluttering my folders once this is done click OK and then restart framemaker in the structured interface you can choose file and under new theres additional options click XML for the purpose of the demo and just to get started make sure that data is selected and then click concept then click OK by default the last workspace that I used is still remembered so Im going to change from authoring to an XML
