The exclamation mark (!) (also known as exclamation point in American English) is a punctuation mark usually used after an interjection or exclamation to indicate strong feelings or to show emphasis. The exclamation mark often marks the end of a sentence, for example: Watch out!
Arguably the most notorious warning light, the engine management or check engine light indicates a potential issue with the vehicles engine or emissions system. This light can be triggered by a range of issues, from minor issues such as a faulty electrical sensor to a more complex fault with your catalytic converter.
Brake System Warning Light In the event that you see an exclamation mark with a circle around it in your dash, that means something is wrong with your brakes. There may be a problem with brake components or the hydraulic fluid may need a top-off. Stop the car and call a tow truck as soon as you safely can.
Press and hold the Alt key. While holding the Alt key, enter the number 33 using the numeric keypad (not the numbers on the top row of the keyboard). Release the Alt key, and the exclamation mark will appear.
The exclamation point is an important part of Microsoft Access as it helps to alert the user to any potential issues or errors. It can be used as a warning symbol to alert the user to an issue that must be fixed before continuing, or as a validation symbol to indicate that a field has not been validated correctly.
Newer model vehicles are equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) to warn drivers that at least one of their tires is underinflated. The dashboard light looks like an exclamation point inside of a horseshoe and, if illuminated, should be addressed immediately.
You might notice the orange exclamation mark on your dashboard. Its a common symbol often surrounded by a tire or flat tire icon. If you see this symbol, pay attention. Its typically an alert that one of your tires has dropped below 75% of its recommended pressure. Its an easy fix: You need to inflate the tire.
Brake Warning Light Represented by an exclamation mark in a circle, with two brackets on either side, if you see that this symbol light on the dashboard is on, then it means that the brake fluid level is low.
