How to View Metadata in Photoshop Open the image for which you want to check the metadata. Head to the File menu, then click File info. And you can also press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + I on Windows and Command + Option + Shift + I on Mac. From here, you can copy or edit the metadata. Click OK to save your changes.
To view the EXIF data in digital image files on a Windows PC, probably the easiest option is simply to right-click on the image file, select Properties and click the Details tab. On a Mac, you can open the image in Preview, go to the Tools menu, select Show Inspector and click the Exif tab.
Right-click the file and select Properties in the drop-down menu. Select the Details tab in the Properties window to view metadata.
