The \titlespacing command allows you to adjust the spacing around section titles. This command is useful for fine-tuning the vertical and horizontal spacing above and below section titles.
Standard Titles You can store any information you want to be shown in the title, including formatting. The actual title will be typeset by issuing the command \maketitle . The layout is defined by the documentclass in use. The command \thanks will store content, which will produce a footnote along with the title.
Creating sections The \section{..} command is used to insert sections into your document, where the section name is entered in the curly brackets. The command \subsection{..} inserts a subsection into the document. The command \subsubsection{..} inserts a second-level subsection.
The \title{..} command is used to specify a title for your document, where the title is entered in the curly brackets. The \author{..} and \date{..} commands are used to display information regarding the document authors name and the date of the document.
The \titlespacing command allows you to adjust the spacing around section titles. This command is useful for fine-tuning the vertical and horizontal spacing above and below section titles. Where: {command} Specifies the sectioning command you want to adjust (e.g., \section, \subsection, \subsubsection).
You can reduce the space between the (sub)title and the first paragraph by adding \vspace{} command from LaTeX right before the first paragraph.
