Jira automatically shows issues as Unresolved when they have no set resolution.Add, edit, and delete a resolution Select Issues. Under ISSUE ATTRIBUTES, select Resolutions. Fill in the form below the existing resolutions. You can edit the name and description at any time. Click Add.
Set Resolution to Done can be found in the Add post function option under Update Issue Field - its the default in the dropdown from there.
Go to post-functions - Update Field Value - Resolution = Done. Publish workflow. Go to issue navigator - search JQL - Bulk Change - Transition all issues from Resolved to Resolved.

Go to post-functions - Update Field Value - Resolution = Done. Publish workflow. Go to issue navigator - search JQL - Bulk Change - Transition all issues from Resolved to Resolved.
Close a request to mark it as complete From your service project, go to Queues. Select the request you want to resolve. Select the Status and transition it to Resolved.
To edit a status: From your projects sidebar, select Project settings Issue types. From the sidebar, select the issue type you want to edit. Select Edit workflow. Select the status in your workflow diagram. The status details panel appears.
