Zip is a combination of archiving and lossless compression, typically used in text files. JPEG is an image file format. If you have raw, uncompressed, images, in zip, you can certainly use any image viewer to compress them in JPEG.
To unzip a single file or folder, open the zipped folder, then drag the file or folder from the zipped folder to a new location. To unzip all the contents of the zipped folder, press and hold (or right-click) the folder, select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Make sure the image is on your computer. Click the File menu and select Open. Locate your image and click OK. Click File, then click the arrow next to Save As. A list of image types, including JPEG, will appear.

What you can do either right click on the picture and goto unzip or open up winzip and open that pix that have the zip file hidden in and click unzip it should work. There isnt a way i have found yet to extract text from image on Command Prompt(cmd).
