Steps Press Windows key + S to activate the search bar. Type optional features . Click Manage optional features. If you see XPS Viewer in the list of installed features, youre good to go. If not, click Add a feature at the top of the window, check the box next to XPS Viewer, and then click at the bottom.
If your company doesnt use the XPS format for business documents, you can free up space on your hard drive by disabling the XPS Document Writer printer driver and its associated service and removing then from your computer.
How to convert XPS to TXT Click inside the file drop area to upload XPS file or drag drop XPS file. Click on Convert button. Download link of result files will be available instantly after conversion. You can also send a link to the TXT file to your email address.
Under Programs and Features, click on Turn Windows Features on or off. Windows Features dialog box will open now. Search and locate Microsoft XPS Document Writer from the list of services available. Click on the checkbox next to it and then click on OK.
Remove the XPS Document Writer printer from Windows 10 using GUI Open Settings. Go to Devices - Printers Scanners. On the right, select the item named Microsoft XPS Document Writer: Once you have it selected, the option Remove device will appear under the printers name. Use it to remove the XPS Document writer.
