rich text formatting or rtf is a way to save a document in a particular format to be read by most word processors maybe you have word perfect or works or open office or something else if i choose file save as on the save as type drop down box i will choose rich text format give it a name and then click save please note that when you do that some programs only the text will be recognized youamp;#39;ll lose some of your pictures or some of your other fancy formatting if you were to go from letamp;#39;s say word to a word perfect or another competitive word processor itamp;#39;s not a 100 perfect conversion but at least youamp;#39;ll get your data and youamp;#39;ll get the gist of it
