PowerPoint provides many default layouts, some of which youll use, and some of which you can delete to keep things simpler. In the slide thumbnail pane, below the slide master, right-click each slide layout that you want to delete, and then click Delete Layout on the shortcut menu.
Note: Select Home Reset if you made layout changes you dont like, and want to revert to the original layout. Using Reset doesnt delete any content youve added.
To remove a colorful theme, apply the Office Theme for a simple design with a plain white background. On the Design tab, in the Themes group, click the More button (illustrated below) to open the entire gallery of themes: Under Office or Built-in, locate and click the Office Theme, which has a white background.
The Ctrl + Shift + N in Windows powerpoint opens a duplicate slideshow of the same presentation instance so I can edit multiple slides at once using multiple screens; and it all gets synced to the same ppt file vs creating another copy of the file in my folder.
To change the current theme to another theme: On the DESIGN tab, in the Themes group, click More. Do one of the following: Under Custom, choose a custom theme to apply. Under Office, click a built-in theme to apply. Click Browse for Themes, and locate and click a theme.
