Iamp;#39;ve got this Squire affinity strat Iamp;#39;m going to do a cosmetic mod to the pickguard in order to get the pit nut off on you take the knobs off first now Iamp;#39;ve done this project before and I showed my tricks for getting the knobs off in the middle of that video but I thought Iamp;#39;d make a standalone video just to show the little tricks I use to get the knobs off so one trick I use this is a using a rag I use a standard t-shirt an old t-shirt that I use to just clean my guitars so if you take the the end of it and work it up underneath the knob like so wrapping it all the way around then you should be able to just pull and comes right off if itamp;#39;s too tricky if itamp;#39;s too tough for that than the other tool that I like to use is a cereal spoon it stresses me out when I see people taking a flathead screwdriver to it now that it really matters because I you know what would you tear up just to pick gar the pit guards mitt to protect the body of the gui
