Steps to filter logs in Android Studio Open your project with Android Studio. Open the Logcat window/tab. Go to Show only selected application filter drop down (should be on the right of the logcat window) Select Edit Filter Configuration item from the drop down.
To exclude log entries, you can use the - sign before key ( -tag: ). Example: Show logs for all tags, which start with HomeScreen prefix and exclude logs for HomeScreenSettings tag. If you want to use a regular expression in logs, you can use the ~ after the key ( tag~: ).
In order to enable and disable log levels in an Android Studio project, you must first open the project. Once the project is open, select the Logcat tab to open the logcat window. In the logcat window, you will see the log levels listed in the left pane. By default, the log level is set to Verbose.
Add an exclusion filter In the Google Cloud console, go to the Logs Router page: Find the row with the Default sink, expand the morevert Actions option, and then click Edit sink. In Choose logs to filter out of sink, for Build an exclusion filter, click add Add exclusion. Enter a name for your exclusion filter.
Setting Up Exclusion Filters in Android Studio Open the logcat monitor pane. Open the dropdown in the upper right corner and select Edit Filter Configuration. Create a new logcat filter. Enter the regular expression ^(?!(WifiMulticast|)) in the Log Tag box, with the Regex option checked.
Select View Tool Windows Logcat from the menu bar. By default, Logcat scrolls to the end. The standard log view displays each logs date, time process and thread ID, tag, package name, priority, and the message associated with it.
With your Android Studio open, click on the File menu. Then select Settings. In the Editor tab, navigate to File Types. Within this menu, click on the Ignored Files and Folders window.
