Method 1: Remove a Single Smart Tag from Text Move the insertion point over the text until the Smart Tag Actions button appears. Click the Smart Tag Actions button, and then click Remove this Smart Tag.
The options for Smart Tags were moved in Office 2010. It can now be found in the Options dialog under Proofing , followed by clicking the Autocorrect Options . You should find a tab in the resulting dialog for Smart Tags , including a button to remove them from the current document.
On the Review tab, in the Protect group, click Restrict Editing. In the Restrict Editing task pane, click Stop Protection.
Click Inspect Document. Click Inspect. The Document Inspector will scan your file for personal information. Click Remove All if Document Inspector finds personal information in your file. Now click Close then save your document.
Remove tags from an item: Control-click the item in a Finder window or on the desktop, then click Tags. Select the tags you want to remove, then press Delete. Remove tags from your Mac: In the Finder, choose Finder Settings, then click Tags. Select the tags you want to remove, then click the Remove button .
To Remove a Label from a File Locate the file within your operating system. Right-click the file and click Classify and protect from the drop-down. Click Delete Label. In the window that appears, choose the appropriate reason for why you are removing the label. Click Confirm. Click Close.
In the AutoCorrect dialog box, click Smart Tags. On the Smart Tags tab, click Remove Smart Tags.
Removing a Sensitivity Label Open the document. Across the top of the document a banner will appear similar to the following: Click Change Permission. De-select Restrict permission to this document.
