Im quite skilled at getting things like mustard and coffee on my whitest, brightest clothing. And for years, I learned to live with faded yellow and brown spots. Turns out the solution to these stubborn stains has been right in front of my face this entire time: Its Dawn Dish Soap.
Mix a teaspoon of salt with several drops of water and apply onto the wood stain in a gentle, circular motion. Wipe off the residue with a damp cloth, and youre done. Dab a little car wax on more stubborn stains using your finger to trace the water ring.
Removing oily stains, such as tar, shoe polish, bike grease, crayon and lipstick, from clothes can be a nightmare. Place the stained area on an old, clean towel or a wad of paper towels then spray with WD-40. Wait a few minutes then dab gently with a clean cloth or paper towels.
1. Combine the dish soap and hydrogen peroxide in the mixing bowl. 2. Apply the mixture to the yellow stain.
Detergent: Rub liquid heavy-duty laundry detergent, such as Tide or Persil, onto the mustard stain and allow the clothing to sit for up to 10 minutes. Rinse the area thoroughly with cold water. Repeat this step until no discoloration is left. If you do not have liquid laundry detergent, try a dish soap as a backup.
Dish soap can be applied to stains before you run the wash, to better prevent them from settling into the fabric. Handwashing small loads: Dawn Platinum can help remove stubborn oil and food stains, making it an ideal option for handwashing small loads of laundry.
Work a light-duty liquid detergent and a few drops of vinegar into stain. Rinse well. If stain remains, apply 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. Rinse.
Solution 2: How to remove set in stains with white vinegar! Begin your treatment process by saturating the stained area of your garment with white vinegar. After fully saturating the area, create a paste from white vinegar and baking soda, and vigorously rub the stained area.
