hey youtubers I just got my Dell XPS 8910 delivered to me Im excited about this computer because I havent had one like this in years I used to have a nice Tower and where you could you know upgrade the hard drive easily or add hard drives and RAM change the graphics card etc and for years Ive been using laptops and kind of off-the-shelf desktops mmm which really didnt give me a lot of flexibility to add these things easily so Im excited about this one its pretty basic when it comes with just the power cord of basic mouse and a keyboard but the thing that Im excited about this model and I think this is the well its the 8910 I dont have any more details than that in front of me right now but what I wanted to show you is just how easy it is to get in here and access the important things that we all want to do to upgrade and they make it really easy theres just two latches you unlock unlock and then you pull this latch and the side of this opens up and and then with a few more w

Many believe a hard drive on its side or upside down causes problems. However, both traditional computer hard drives and SSD that are installed correctly work in any orientation and having them on their side does not hinder their operation.
Procedure Place the computer in an upright position. Remove the screw (#6-32xL7-12) that secures the right-side cover release latch to the chassis. Pull the right-side cover release latch. Lift the right-side cover and then slide it towards the top of the computer. Remove the right-side cover from the chassis. Figure 1.
Starting from the bottom-left corner, use a plastic scribe to pry the base cover in the direction of the arrows to release the base cover from the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. Grasp the left side and the right side of the base cover and remove the base cover from the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

Steps Loosen the captive screw that secures the left-side cover latch to the chassis. Pull on the left-side cover latch to release the left-side cover from the chassis. Holding the left-side cover firmly on both sides, remove and lift the left-side cover from the chassis.
