Note the carbide seat located on the top of the shaft. Using a pick, remove it and examine for wear. Remove the blue high-pressure seal; this is also a wear item. Place the inlet nut back in the vise and remove the O-ring. Gently pry the shaft seal loose from the inlet nut and examine for wear. Now
