Most QR Code Readers can decode QR Codes with inverted colors as well as the native camera app. However, there is a small number of Apps that cannot decode such QR Codes. If you want to make sure that the code can be read by all scanners avoid inverted colors.
On Android devices: Tap and hold the image, then select Remove or Delete from the menu.
Note that QR codes cannot be read in mirror image, so only 3 of the 6 possible cube orientations cast a readable shadow.
When you scan a QR Code with a reading app on your smartphone, the app decodes the information and presents it in a way that you can understand and use. For example, if the QR Code contains a URL, the reading application will decode this information and can take you directly to the corresponding website.
The simple answer is No. Mirroring a QR Codes or inverting it will prevent most barcode readers from being able to decode the image and extract any data from it.
Typically, a standard QR code consists of black squares on a white background. However, an inverted QR code switches this, making the squares white and the background black. As I am aware, the information encoded within the QR code remains the same. Magic Leap2 cannot read this kind of QR code at the moment.
To efficiently store data, QR codes use four standardized modes of encoding: (i) numeric, (ii) alphanumeric, (iii) byte or binary, and (iv) kanji.
