A late payment fee of $30.00 will be assessed monthly on past due balances of $60.00 or more. A financial hold will prevent you from registering and receiving an official diploma.
Payments must be made through your financial institution, via a bank machine, in-bank, online or by telephone. On-campus payments are not available. Please note that there may be additional fees associated with making payments by credit card.
Late Fees: All unpaid account balances after the tuition and housing due date will be charged a 20% late fee, not to exceed $75. If a student/authorized payer has entered into a payment plan agreement, a failed payment will be assessed a $30.00 fee.
USU uses TouchNet, an online service where you can view bills, make payments, and manage your account any time. You can also set up an authorized user, like a parent or guardian, to access your account and make payments on your behalf. You can also pay in person at the Registrars Office with cash or check.
You may pay with a credit/debit card or ECheck. You may also be able to set up a payment plan here. By selecting payment plan.
Most colleges accept credit cards for tuition payments and charge a 1.5% to 3.5% fee. This amounts to around $15 to $35 per $1,000 payment. These fees can really add up, especially at private universities with higher tuition costs and limited financial aid.
Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express credit cards are accepted. The university has contracted with a third party to provide the ability to make credit card payments through the QuikPAY system.
