Try it! Select the cell or column that contains the text you want to split. Select Data Text to Columns. In the Convert Text to Columns Wizard, select Delimited Next. Select the Delimiters for your data. Select Next. Select the Destination in your worksheet which is where you want the split data to appear.
Syntax MID(text,startnum,numchars) Text is the text string containing the characters you want to extract. Startnum is the position of the first character you want to extract in text. Please find the steps for eliminating line breaks using Find and Replace: Select all cells where you want to remove or replace carriage returns. Press Ctrl+H to open the Find Replace dialog box. In the Find What field enter Ctrl+J. In the Replace With field, enter any value to replace carriage returns.
