To do so: Select the text box, go to the Format tab in the menu bar, click on the Shape Outline option (located usually on the right side of the toolbar). From the dropdown menu select either No Outline or Transparent to remove any visible borders around your text box.

Select the text box or shape. If you want to change multiple text boxes or shapes, click the first text box or shape, and then press and hold Ctrl while you click the other text boxes or shapes. On the Format tab, click Shape Outline, and then click No Outline.
In the View menu, you should see an option called Outline. If its currently selected (highlighted), click on it again to deselect it. This should take your document out of outline view.
