hey everyone in todayamp;#39;s 365 ninja tip Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to add or remove a watermark to your word 2013 document here I have my guide to office 365 app and you can see that thereamp;#39;s a big watermark across it that says sample if I want to remove that watermark this is also the same process that youamp;#39;ll use to add a watermark youamp;#39;ll need to go to your design tab in the ribbon from here go over to the page background section and you can see that watermark is an option so if I click the drop down menu I can simply remove my watermark and it goes away I also have the option to select from a couple prefilled watermarks like confidential draft sample do not copy but you can also create a custom watermark you can add a picture or text you can even change the font or color if you want and when youamp;#39;re ready youamp;#39;ll click apply now Iamp;#39;ll close out of that and you can see that ASAP has now appeared as my watermark so it really can

Turn the display of formatting marks on or off Go to Word Preferences View. Under Show Non-Printing Characters, select the check box for each formatting mark that you always want to display regardless if the Show/Hide. button is turned on or off. Deleting an in-text citation Click on the relevant citation. Its background turns grey to show it is selected. Click the EndNote tab ► Edit Manage Citation(s). A new window will pop up. Ensure the correct citation is highlighted. Click the arrow beside the Edit Reference button, choose Remove Citation, then click OK.
Look at the Always show these formatting marks on the screen, section, the second one down. Notice the checkbox next to the paragraph symbol labeled Paragraph marks. Unselect the box to turn off the paragraph marks.
To turn formatting marks on or off, do the following: In the message window, on the Format Text tab, in the Paragraph group, click the button that looks like a paragraph mark. (When you point your mouse at the button, the tooltip says Show/Hide ). Keyboard shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+*.
If it is an index entry, delete the corresponding XE field inserted by Word. To see XE fields as well as other hidden fields, display nonprinting marks; you can click the button on the Home tab. When you are done, update the index.
To use a keyboard shortcut to turn the paragraph symbols on and off in both Word and Outlook, simply press Ctrl + Shift + * (select the asterisk on the 8 key) for PC. On a Mac, you can turn paragraph symbols on and off in Word by pressing Command + 8.
