Use acetone to erase ink. Most nail polish remover is made of acetone, and this can be used to remove ink from paper. Apply a small amount of acetone to a cotton swab, and rub into the ink youre trying to erase. This works best on regular ballpoint pen ink. Blue ink is more easily erased than black ink.
Eraser: A high-quality eraser can be effective for minor ink stains. Gently rub the ink stain with a clean eraser, being cautious not to tear or damage the paper. Remove any eraser residue.
Pen ink can be a real pain to deal with, especially when you notice a stain on the clothes you wear the most. However, ink stains can usually be removed with cleaning products and a bit of time the key is to act quickly and use the right methods, such as proper pretreating and warm wash cycles.
Make a cleaning solution of natural laundry detergent and vinegar diluted in water, and test it on a corner spot. If it doesnt damage the fabric, soak the stained area in this solution for about half an hour. If the stain is removed after soaking, rinse the fabric with cold water and let it air dry.
Apply rubbing alcohol, hair spray, or hand sanitizer to dilute the stain, making it easier to remove during the wash. These solvents help tackle most types of ink stains but remember to test the stained garment for colorfastness first as they can also attack fabric dyes and cause further damage.
Checkbook.org recommends using a pen with blue or black non-erasable gel ink, as gel ink soaks into paper and is more difficult to remove than ballpoint-pen ink. Here are few to select from: Pilot G-2 0.38. Uniball 207 Gel Pen. Sharpie S-Gel.
If you mean physically clean. Prepare a tray with warm water. (Not boiling but relatively hot). Put a few pumps of dish detergent into the tray and mix it up. Place paper money on a clean, flat surface. Lightly dip a corner of the soft rag in the soapy water and, starting from the middle of the money, brush it later.
Acetone, benzene, bleach and carbon tetrachloride may all be used to remove various inks. Cheque washing is typically done on stolen cheques and the effect is difficult or impossible to detect with the naked eye.
