MCELROY: Ohios driver licenses and state ID cards are changing, and there are several important things older Ohioans need to know. NORMAN: The cards have a new look with greater security features to protect cardholders. And, the process to get or renew your license or ID has changed, too. You now receive your card by mail about 10 business days after you renew or apply at a Deputy Registrar license agency. MCELROY: There are also new documentation requirements to get an Ohio driver license or state ID that is compliant with recent federal regulation changes. NORMAN: To get a federally compliant card, you will need to provide your deputy registrar with documentation proving your date of birth and social security number, as well as two other documents showing your home address.
