By clicking the boundary box right below the table of contents and dragging it up until a thick blue outline emerges around the table of contents, you can delete the table of contents.
Select any page in the section you want to delete (a highlight appears behind other pages in the same section), then press Delete on your keyboard.
Ungroup objects: Control-click the group, then choose Ungroup from the shortcut menu.
In Page Thumbnails view, select the page you want to make the start of a new section, or click anywhere in the section you want to the new section to follow. Open the Document sidebar, then click the Section tab at the top. Click the Create a new section pop-up menu, then choose Starting with this page.
Open Pages, and if a document is already open, tap Documents in the top-left corner to see all your documents. Touch and hold the document thumbnail, lift your finger, then tap Delete. To delete a document shared with you by someone else (so that it can no longer be recovered), tap Delete Now.
Click the View button in the toolbar, then choose Page Thumbnails. Click a page thumbnail (in a page layout document) or section (in a word-processing document) to select it, then drag it to a new location (in the sidebar).
Follow these steps to get rid of a section break in your document: Open your Microsoft Word document. Click on the Home tab at the top of the screen. Locate the section break that you want to remove. Place your cursor just before the section break. Press the Delete key on your keyboard.
Edit content: Double-click the cell to make the insertion point appear, then type. To move the insertion point, click where you want it, then type. Replace content: Click the cell, then start typing. The existing content is overwritten.
