from controller okay take the job L that is job controller right click on the job you say VI locks you will see the lock files of that job you can up and down logs from back his find new job history select default options again you will see the jobs listed right on the top and say View lck and all the logs pertaining to this job now these jobs are not sequen so you need to check individual loog file name and then see for the errors that you want to look for now click on view all so that everything is in one single page and you can see what you want if you know which log to check on particular server you can do that for example on the client if I want to see logs I can right click on the client VI lock files here I will see all the process logs so you can selck whichever you want and then cck open you will see the logs pertaining to that process that is CBD in this case and you can click on VI all again you see all the logs in one page and you can scroll down to the end you see the most

How to clear the event viewer log: Open Event Viewer and select the Windows log you wish to clear. Right-click on the log and select Clear Log. Select Save and Clear. Browse to a folder where you want to save the log file to and click Save.
If you want to delete individual log files, try these steps. Type cmd in the Search box and choose Run as administrator to open Command Prompt. Type wevtutil el and press Enter to list all the logs. Type wevtutil cl + the name of the log you want to delete and press Enter to remove the individul log file.
For example, to empty a log file using the truncate command, you can run truncate -s 0 logfilename . Another method is using echo logfilename to overwrite the log file with an empty string. These commands effectively clear the log files contents while keeping the file structure intact.
Method 1: Truncate a file using truncate command The safest way to truncate a log file is using the truncate command. In the above command, -s is used to set/adjust the size (in bytes) of the file. When you use -s 0, it means you adjusted the file size to 0 bytes.
Usually, we use the cp command to copy files in Linux. Also, we know /dev/null is a special file present in every Linux system. Typically, we use /dev/null for disposing of unwanted output streams of a process, or as a convenient empty file for input streams. As the output above shows, the file is emptied.
Log files are software-generated files containing information about the operations, activities, and usage patterns of an application, server, or IT system.
How do I manually delete temporary files in Windows? Press WINDOWS ⊞ + R keys together to open the Run dialog. Type %temp% and press ENTER. This opens the Temporary Files folder. Select all files by pressing CTRL + A. Press DELETE and confirm by clicking Yes in the User Account Control prompt.
