Hey, this is Bill Jelen from MrExcel. Hey, this is an optional step. This is a troubleshooting step. If you download the e-books, instead of getting a .epub, you get a zip file, theres one of two reasons that cause that, okay? And one of them could be my fault. Our shopping cart- cart software requires us to have electronic products delivered by- as a zip file. So, if you buy something from MrExcel or many other sites, its going to show up in a zip file. But some people have epub files up there and as you download those, depending on your browser, the browser thinks its smarter than you are and it renames it to be .zip, alright? So we have to figure out which one of the two we have. Now, by default, youre not going to see the extensions for this so we want to turn that back on. So we understand that we have a zip file. If you dont see this menu bar in Windows Explorer, you want to press the Alt, A-L-T key, to get that back and then go to Tools, Folder Options, click on View; and r

You can open and read .EPUB files on both Windows and Mac devices if you download docHub Digital Editions to your computer. Open docHub Digital Editions on your machine. Select File, then Add to Library. Find the saved .EPUB file on your device. Double-click the .EPUB file you want to read.
To launch the Settings view, select the Settings ePub Reader option. The settings are partitioned into 4 sections, with the most common settings grouped in the Display tab. Most of the settings in this tab are covered in more detail in separate document pages for each individual setting.
I find the easiest method is to add the EPUB file to the open source program calibre You can then right click the file and select Edit file. The calibre editor will do the job of unpacking the file and the individual sections can then be edited. Youll find a knowledge of HTML and CSS will be useful.
To change the default you need to: Go to Settings (on your Android device) Go to Apps. Select the app that is currently the default app for the file type ebooks/ePub.
Metadata allows you to view and edit EPUB metadata with a few clicks. Please upload your file and our EPUB editing tool will be opened and you may view and change metadata properties. When you finish editing properties, please click Save button and then Download button to download the resultant file.
The Edit Table of Contents tool shows you the current Table of Contents (if any) on the left. Simply double click on any entry to change its text. You can also re-arrange entries by drag and drop or by using the buttons to the right.
An EPUB is essentially a ZIP file containing nested folders with XHTML text, images, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), embedded fonts, and metadata files. Almost anyone can edit EPUB files with the help of an eBook editing tool, although some familiarity with hypertext markup language (HTML) is helpful.
