Vista Purchase Order Auto Close. Contractors often have lingering POs that need to be closed. Now, in PO company parameters, you have the ability to auto close purchase orders on final invoice. This essentially says that if you have a PO and have invoiced the amount of the PO, so that there is a net zero left on it, can automatically close the PO. This step also allows you to create exceptions, to this check box, in the tab, PO, close, job Cost exceptions. Allowing you to select PO cost types or job cost cost types to exclude. Another easy way to set up PO auto close is when you create a PO. By marking or un-marking the box, you can exclude that particular PO, in addition to the formerly mentioned exceptions for cost types and job cost cost types.
