To selectively edit or remove document data, click File Info Properties. Click Show All Properties. Delete or edit information.
Word examines the document, and then displays the results in a list. The second item in the list is Document Properties and Personal Information. To the right of Document Properties and Personal Information is a button labeled Remove All. Click that button. Next click Close then save your document.
How to Remove Identifying Information Go to File Select Info Click on Check for issues Click on Inspect document In the Document Inspector dialog box, select the check boxes to choose the types of hidden content that you want to be inspected. Click Remove All Click Close Save the document.
To use this method, right click on the file and go to Properties, then click the Details tab. Then click Remove Properties and Personal Information at the bottom of the tab.
Right-click and choose the Properties option in the context menu. Switch to the Details tab. Click on Remove Properties and Personal Information at the bottom of the dialog window. Select Remove the following properties from this file.
On the Excel menu, click Preferences. Select the Remove personal information from this file on save check box. Save the workbook.
Click Inspect Document. Click Inspect. The Document Inspector will scan your file for personal information. Click Remove All if Document Inspector finds personal information in your file. Now click Close then save your document.
Click on the Check for Issues button, and then choose Inspect Document. Click on Inspect down in the bottom right corner. It will return the results, and the one you are concerned with is Document Properties and Personal Information. If you want to get rid of it, click on Remove All.
