How do I remove individuals from a shared file? Open the homescreen for Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Google Slides. Select a file or folder. Click Share or Share . I wasnt getting the remove button in the account chooser either, but its actually easier now: Sign out of the account you want to remove. Click on the accounts drop down menu (top right). Click the signed out account. Youll see overlaid options to Remove or Sign In; click Remove.
