Modifying the text fonts Create a new document containing the following code: \documentclass{article} \begin{document} Text can be \emph{emphasized}. Besides from \textit{italics}, words can be \textbf{bold}, \textsl{slanted}, or typeset in \textsc {Small Caps}. Click Typeset and have a look at the output:
1:03 6:15 Text bf. And then inside the curly braces you put the actual word or the sentence of the paragraphMoreText bf. And then inside the curly braces you put the actual word or the sentence of the paragraph you want to modify. So in this example. We are going to bold. The word bold.
Changing font size in LaTeX If the accommodation specifies a font larger than 12pt, use the standard type size commands to increase the size of the font. These commands are case sensitive, so \large, \Large, and \LARGE all result in different font sizes.
Changing default font typeface The font can also be changed for a specific element in the document. The command \fontfamily{qcr}\selectfont will set the TeX gyre cursor font typeface, whose fontcode is qcr , for the text inside the braces. A lot more LaTeX font typefaces are available, see the reference guide.
You can highlight or phrase the word you want: Select the word or phrase that you want to change the font for. Right-click on the selected text and choose Font from the context menu. In the Font dialog box, choose the font and size that you want to apply to the selected text. Click OK to apply the changes.
LaTex uses the Computer Modern typeface family by default, which includes options for serif, sans serif, and monospaced (typewriter) fonts. Documentation for changing fonts is available on the Overleaf font typefaces guide and the LaTeX 2e documentation.
