Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today we are going to learn how to use Google Sheets. Google Sheets is free spreadsheet software that you can use to get insights from your data. Were going to start with the absolute basics. First, well look at how you can even get Google Sheets, and I know, when you open up Google Sheets for the first time, it may very well feel like youre in the cockpit of a jet plane. There are so many different menus, so many different buttons. What do they all do? Once we cover the basics, then well advance to formulas and functions, inserting charts, using pivot tables, even collecting data from forms. By the end of this video, youll be a pro in using Google Sheets. Along with this video, I also highly, highly recommend using the official training provided by Google. They offer courses on getting started with Google Sheets, advanced topics, using functions, formulas, and charts. Youll find links to these resources down below in the description

Cell: A cell is a rectangular area formed by the intersection of a column and a row. Cells are identified by the Cell Name (or Reference, which is found by combining the Column Letter with the Row Number. For example the cell in Column C in Row 3 would be cell C3.
If you work with an Excel file that needs to be updated or reviewed by other people, the option to track changes can come in handy. You can also use it when youre updating a file and need to keep a track of all the changes you do yourself. This can be helpful when you revisit it sometime later.
How to turn on Track Changes in Excel 2010 and 2013 Open an Excel document and click on the Review tab. Click the Track Changes button (located on the far right). A small drop-down menu will appear. In the dialogue box that opens, check the box next to Track changes while editing. You now have the following parameters:
See the changes that have been made to a workbook by going to the Review tab. Then click the Show Changes button. This will open up a task pane on the right side of the worksheet that has a running list. The list contains all of the changes that have been made in the workbook.
To turn on Track Changes: From the Review tab, click the Track Changes command, then select Highlight Changes from the drop-down menu. The Highlight Changes dialog box will appear. If prompted, click OK to allow Excel to save your workbook. Track Changes will be turned on.
We use a lot the Track changes feature in excel, this morning the feature was gone from the Review Tab, the group Changes now its named Protect but it doesnt have the Protect and share workbook, Allow users to edit ranges and Track Changes buttons.
When you highlight changes as you work, Excel outlines any revisions (such as changes, insertions, and deletions) with a highlighting color. On the Review tab, click Track Changes, and then click Highlight Changes. Select the Track changes while editing. This also shares your workbook check box.
