This video tutorial discusses the process of running the wolf model for atmospheric data. Before starting, it is recommended to first understand the wolf pre-processing system for data preparation. The workflow involves two main programs: one for producing initial and boundary conditions (initialization program) and another for time integration (wolf model). To run the model for real atmosphere, three WPS programs are first run to prepare the domain and meteorological data, followed by the model program. Alternatively, the model can also be run using idealized initial conditions. It is suggested to download the model code and follow along, taking note of any questions.
