welcome back everybody so in this video im just going to make a little continuation video from the last video on hooking up the butt set using the tip and ring method because last time i just used you know a straight uh rj11 connection i just kind of cheated so this time we are actually going to use the two clamps for tip and ring so in this case im going to be using a fluke um well its basically an adapter that you can plug into the wall like you plug in the cable on this port on the adapter and then the other end obviously goes into the wall but it still uh is basically simulating as if youre actually going into i guess bare telephone wire you know exposed wires and you see all the different colors of wires because as you can see you know it has color coding here like red black green and yellow so anyway uh tip and ring lets see tip that is the green wire in the telephone line and lets see black the black clamp goes to tip so lets just plug the black one into green because yea
