Answer Solution Explorer - Right click - Add ASP.NET folder - Themes. Theme1 - Right click - Add new item - Stylesheet - name it as Theme1.css. Inside Theme1.css. Again add a new file. Themes2 - Right click - Add new item - Stylesheet - name it as Theme2.css.
To add theme we have to first create the theme folder using name AppThemes. Now add theme in the AppThemes folder by clicking on right on this folder and go to Add Asp.net folder and select theme. And give it proper name.
Skins can be used to apply the common style to the individual ASP.Net controls. You can apply a style to the specific control. It easy to remind which skin is for which control because inside the skin file ASP.Net controls are directly used and in . aspx pages it automatically appears to that control id style.
A skin file has the file name extension .skin and contains property settings for individual controls such as Button, Label, TextBox, or Calendar controls. Control skin settings are like the control markup itself, but contain only the properties you want to set as part of the theme.
Skin files are used to define the property settings for ASP.NET Web server controls. Skin files are created and stored in a theme folder. This theme folder is placed inside the folder named AppThemes. All the themes in a Web application are placed inside the AppThemes folder.
