with the help of our friend the character panel you can adjust the text character and line spacing in photoshop super easily and let me show you exactly how the first way to adjust your spacing of characters is using tracking and tracking will adjust the individual spaces between each character to access this setting you need to first access the characters panel which you can find by going to window and then down here to character in the panel that appears all you have to do is select your text layer of choice and then any adjustments you make in the characters panel will apply to your selected text now since we want to adjust the tracking were going to use this little option right here now by hovering over the icon i can click and drag either direction to increase the tracking which is adding space between my characters or i can bring it back to bring all of my characters closer together now obviously this is affecting all of our characters equally but what if you only want to adjus
