hello iamp;#39;m arlen Guyer and I was curious just how much file degradation occurs in JPEG files and in particular in multiple saves of a JPEG file so I have this photograph of folk singer Betty Smith and it was shot in raw and this and then I saved it as a tiff file and then save that as a JPEG file at photo shops quality level 11 which is one step down from the highest and mark that as file number one but then it closed that opened it again marked it with a to save that as number two closed it opened it again did number three and continue to do that for 15 generations so this is generation number one and I continued on for fifteen generations where I saved it as a level quality level 11 JPEG file and then closed it reopened it and made a mark on it and resaved it at the same quality level so Iamp;#39;d like to show you now a comparison of a 300% magnification of the 15th generation JPEG file and the original TIFF file so here you go on the top is the JPEG file which is generation
