hi in this video i will be showing you how i use spreadsheets in tech editing when i tech edit i tend to use a spreadsheet especially if there are multiple sizes to double check the numbers let me share my screen so i will open just a new spreadsheet i dont use any kind of template i dont want to have any built-in equations that will um like taint my tech edit so i i just start from scratch and i will somewhere up here put the gauge and you know ill enter the stitches and usually its four inches and then put in an equation for the gauge right there and then i will tag it so later on i can come back to it and then ill do the row gauge as well um and bring the equation down and then i will tag this thats row um like so then whenever i need to use the gauge i have the uh the stitch in the row gauge um tagged right up there and then ill usually um put the sizes you know across like so and i will tend to um up here as well kind of pre fill in from from the pattern really quickly like
