hello everybody and welcome back to another video on a short bit series from IJ apps today Ill be covering padding and margin which are two very important properties in XML that just about every view or UI element has so lets get started so over here on the Left we have our regular button with no padding or margin but on the right side we have a button and this time it has some padding and a margin so the padding does is it extends the box and capsule eats and wraps around our budding an XML and we took a layout width and height of her body to wrap content it is wrapped around a button and being a small and possibly can be but when we add a padding for pushing that border or box it encapsulates the button even further here in XML have the code for the two buttons only one of them has padding and the bottom over here and Im going to open up the app on my phone so here it is and you can see that one button has a noticeably larger padding and thats because in the XML we specified the
