[Music] hello and welcome to another frontier precision tech talk my name is tony and today we will go through the process of staking out a line uh using general survey and trimble access version 20 21.10 lets get started all right so staking on a line in trimble access so i have my access emulator open right here uh first thing im going to want to do is obviously is get some line work on my screen so i have my survey started im all ready to go so the first thing i need to do is just turn those layers on that i have already imported so by clicking on our layer manager icon here you can see i have two separate lines ones a dxf and one is an xml another file format you might be comfortable or used to seem to be in rxl but for today ill just use the dxf and xml file formats if youre getting uh some line work from your design person dxf might be what youre getting and a lot of times with those dxfs uh theyre just set at an elevation of zero or question mark uh and in the xml uh u
