Hey, this is Daniel with SimplyStamps.com. When your stamp is running low on ink, you have two options. You can use refill ink, or you can replace the stamp pad itself. Today we are going to demonstrate how to do both of those things. First, weamp;#39;ll do the refill ink. Flip your stamp over and put it in the locked position. Grab the two tabs on the stamp pad and remove the pad itself. You grab your bottle of ink and put about 3 to 4 drops of ink across the pad. And let that soak in for a few seconds. When the ink has soaked into the pad, and there are no more pools, you can reinsert your pad back into the stamp itself. And push the stamp down and unlock it. And now you have successfully re-inked your stamp. The second option is to buy a totally new replacement pad. And in that case you will follow the same procedures. Youamp;#39;ll push the stamp down, and lock it, and will take out the old pa. Youamp;#39;ll take your new pad and remove the cover. Youamp;#39;ll tkae the new pad

In multi-color printing, the first ink printed must have greater tack than the ink that will be printed on top of it, or the latter will not trap on the first ink. The tack of an ink can be measured with an Inkometer or a Tackoscope.
Tack is a measure of the forces required to split a single film into two. In case of ink, such film splitting is influenced by rheological and adhesive ink properties and the internal cohesion of the ink. Tack depends heavily on the ink formulation.
Printing Tack (Set Rate): This test measures the ability of a paper to absorb the thin oils from ink and the set rate of ink on our standard paper or any other paper. As the oils leave the ink film, the ink sets and after time, eventually dries. If the ink contains heavy oxidation-type oils, it sets slowly.

If there is picking and build-up problem during printing, tack reducer gel can be used to reduce tack value. Ink tack reducer is normally used to adjust the tack value without affecting the rheology.
