Australian flag in the front of my house in Texas USA with an American flag too it is totally okay to fly another flag in the United States nobody would find that really offensive at all the one thing I would say is that if you are going to fly both an American flag and an Australian flag is that the American flag just needs to be slightly higher than the Australian flag if theyamp;#39;re going to be on the same flagpole the American flag would go on top if youamp;#39;re gonna have two different flag poles the Australian flag would just need to fly slightly lower than the American flag

Can the flag be repaired or mended? Answer: There are no provisions of the Flag Code which prohibit the sewing or repairing the flag. We do caution that if material is removed, the flag may no longer conform to the size proportions, as specified in Executive Order 10834.
It states that when an American flag is no longer a fitting emblem for display often due to factors like fading, tearing, or soiling it should be retired in a dignified manner, preferably by burning.
Dirty, ripped, wrinkled or frayed flags should not be used. Also, when flags are damaged, they should be destroyed in a dignified manner. The U.S. flag should flow freely in the wind or in a lobby with a passing breeze as people walk past.
Did you know that you can pin your flag on a wall with thumb tacks? Simply use tacks to attach the flag to the surface and place them through the fabric of the flag and into the desired location. Make sure your flag is securely attached to the surface but not stretched or distorted.
The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground, the floor, water, or merchandise. The flag should never be carried flat or horizontally, but always aloft and free. The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery.
Placement: The national flag is traditionally flown from the stern (back) of the boat. This location ensures maximum visibility and recognition. There is no specific side that is preferred (starboard or portside), so that is up to the individual boater and available space on their boat.
General Display of Flag Etiquette. It is the universal custom to display the flag only from sunrise to sunset on buildings and on stationary flagstaffs in the open. However, when a patriotic effect is desired, the flag may be displayed twenty-four hours a day if properly illuminated during the hours of darkness.
(a) read as follows: Whoever knowingly casts contempt upon any flag of the United States by publicly mutilating, defacing, defiling, burning, or trampling upon it shall be fined not more than $1,000 or imprisoned for not more than one year, or both. Subsec. (b).
